I am working out of Fort Collins, CO at Summit Salon Studios.
3491 E Harmony Rd, Suite 120
Fort Collins, CO 80528
I will send you this information and more instructions when we get you booked in!
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I require a nonrefundable deposit to book a tattoo with me.
Deposits are $50-$100 depending on the design and complexity of your tattoo.
I use Venue.ink, a service to easily connect and book between us. They charge a 10% service fee on payments that I split with you 50/50
($5 on a $100 deposit). This service fee does not apply to your tattoo cost.
To avoid paying the service fee, I can accept deposits in cash during an in-person consultation or via venmo at any time (@clarke.tatts).
Your deposit will always be applied to the total cost of your tattoo.
How much will my tattoo cost?
I price tattoos by the piece rather than hourly.
Pricing varies based on the style, size, color, placement, and more. I base my prices on a general rate of $150/hr, and I would be happy to give you a quote with a free consultation (no obligation to book).
My minimum for custom work is $150 and $100 for flash or very tiny, simple designs (<30 minutes).
My rate for a full day session (5-7 hrs of tattooing) is $700. You can expect any given tattoo session to cost between $100-$700.
Some large scale/multiple day pieces may be quoted at a price range with a cap rather than one set price to accomodate for the range of time it may take to complete.
If you use a card to pay, there will be a 5% service fee attached that goes to the payment processing company.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash or venmo for payments (@clarketatts), but cash is preferred.
You can use a card or make a payment plan through Venue.ink, but there will be a 5% service fee applied to the transaction. I recommend cash or venmo to avoid this.
If you have any questions or issues, let me know prior to our session and we can work together to find a solution!
Venue.ink is the booking service I use for tattoos. There is no account or app download required to use it.
Using this service allows me to be able to handle card transactions, accept payment plans, and more.
To use their service to process your deposit or card transaction, there is a 10% service fee that I split with you 50/50 ($5 on a $100 deposit). This service fee does not apply to your tattoo cost.
To avoid this service fee, please pay with cash or venmo (@clarketatts).
What should I bring to my session?
You cannot be tattooed without bringing a valid photo ID to your session.
Other than that, please bring anything that you need to feel comfortable and confident during your session. Blankets, headphones, plushies, snacks, etc. are all more than welcome.
Please do not bring any pets other than service animals.
When do get to see my design?
I will send your design either the evening prior (5-10PM) or in the morning before (7-11AM) your tattoo appointment so you have time to review it and ask for any edits or changes.
This way, (as long as time allows) any changes should be ready for you by your appointment time, but it's also completely fine if we need to make adjustments in person at your appointment time.
In the event that there are major changes that need to be made to the design, we may have to reschedule.
Yes, but please note that my studio can only accomodate one guest per tattoo client. My studio is very cozy, and more than 3 people can be a bit tight/uncomfortable.
Please let me know prior to your session if you plan to bring a support person.
Please do not bring any pets other than service animals.
What if i need to reschedule?
While I strive to be accomodating and understanding of my clients, I also have to be respectful of my time and business.
If you need to reschedule on short notice (<48 hrs before your appointment) no worries, life happens!
In the event that we need to reschedule a second time, your deposit will be forfeit and another deposit will be required to rebook.
Of course! I am happy to offer all clients one free touch up.
Any additional touch ups will be $50, a tray fee that covers the materials consumed during the process.
If you plan on getting more tattoos from me, I am happy to touch up any existing tattoo as part of a new appointment at no additional charge.
Adding elements or making changes to the design on an existing tattoo would qualify as a rework and need a consultation.
No, I do not tattoo minors under any circumstances.
Sorry! I would love to work with you when you turn 18.
I take cover ups on a case by case basis.
I love the challenge of a cover up, but not every tattoo is a suitable candidate and some cover ups are beyond my skill level.
Any cover ups will require an in person consultation so I can see and feel the skin and ensure I will be a good fit for your project.
Will you tattoo someone else's Art?
Yes, I will tattoo someone else's art work as long as you have their written consent to have the design tattooed. If the artist's policy is that you must buy a tattoo ticket, I will require proof of purchase.
I will never directly copy someone's art or design otherwise.
If you have artwork from the internet or pinterest that you want tattooed, but cannot find or reach out to the original artist, I will redraw something custom for you that keeps the spirit of what you initially showed me.
I am happy to touch up, cover, or rework a tattoo from another artist, especially if they have moved, quit tattooing, or made you feel uncomfortable for any reason.
Yes, but I generally reccomend that you avoid it if at all possible.
Numbing cream heavily affects the texture of the skin and the heal of the ink, especially with color tatoos.
If you would like to use numbing cream, please let me know prior to your session. Any numbing cream used should be purchased at a physical location (CVS, Walgreens, etc) and should be no more than 5% lidocaine.
Please do a patch test on your skin with any numbing product you use at least 24 hrs before your tattoo. Please be aware that if the numbing cream negatively affects your skin texture, it can become unworkable and we may need to reschedule.
All clients will be offered Bactine (lidocaine spray) during their tattoo session and I much prefer to use this.
